In 1910, Mr. Thomas F. Kutis, Sr. (grandfather to the current president Thomas F. Kutis, III) started this business at 1006 Geyer Ave.

In 2010 we will celebrate our 100th year of continuous service by the Tom Kutis Family.

In the 1920's a building was erected at Gravois and Nebraska only to be razed when Gravois was widened in the late 20's.  The original part of the newly constructed building at 2906 Gravois Ave. was constructed in the early 30's with the Grand Opening in the Summer of 1932.  We soon needed an addition to this building which was completed in 1962.

Affton Chapel at 10151 Gravois was built and opened for business in November 1974

South County Chapel at 5255 Lemay Ferry Road was opened in September 1988.

Mr. Kutis' principal of "Affordability and Service with Dignity" remains our guiding commitment to the St. Louis community.  In coming years the family of Tom Kutis, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren make this same pledge to you.
