Merchants
who want to accept and authorize credit card payments in
their online store have the option of signing up for
Merchant Payment Center. Merchant Payment Center
consolidates and automates the tasks of establishing a
merchant bank account and accessing an Internet payment
gateway for transaction processing. Merchant Payment
Center's merchant account services are provided through
RapidSite's
partnership
with Bank One.
The
following add-on modules are available on the Win2k
EC plans and can be requested by contacting
RapidSite's support department directly:
- Clear
Commerce Module: Clear Commerce is a turn key
real-time credit card processing application. With one
simple application, your online store is automatically
configured and can begin to take online transactions.
This module is installed with all Win2k EC
Plans (An
additional $30/month - does not include discount rate
or per transaction fees)
- Drop
Ship Module: If your company has many divisions in
different locations, this module will allow for the
order to go to the appropriate location.
- QuickBooks
Module: Gives the ability to use the Quickbooks
program. This gives you the ability to track the sales
and revenue through this well known program.

A one time setup
fee is charged for all new accounts.
** A downgrade fee is charged for all plan changes that
downgrade the account to a lower plan type, domain
registration accounts not included. The downgrade fee is
equal to the setup fee of the plan type to which the account
is being downgraded. Ex: Downgrading a Windows 2000/NT Cor
plan account to the Windows 2000/NT Pro plan. The
Professional plan Set up fee is $50.00. In this case, the
downgrade fee will be $50.00. |

Important
Notes:
- Plan
Changes: A plan change fee will apply to those
who wish to migrate between Windows plan types. There
will be no plan change fee for resellers who are
migrating between a UNIX webhosting account and an
Windows plan. Please be aware that files are not
moved during platform changes - resellers migrating
customer sites between UNIX and W2K will have to copy
the entire website to a client machine and republish to
the new account.
- SSL
Secure Server: Shared Certificates (Verisign,
Thawte etc.) are not supported on W2K. Customers must
have their own dedicated certificate for secure
transactions or secure http sessions. A dedicated
certificate cannot be moved from a UNIX hosting account
to a W2K account with out re-registering with Verisign
or Thawte.
- Permissions:
Permissions can not be set individually on Microsoft
FrontPage child webs. Password protected
directories/pages are not currently possible on this
platform without independent ASP coding. Users wishing
to use FrontPage functionality to perform password
protection should order one of our UNIX hosting plans.
